Wexford County Council income guide

Indicative annual net-income threshold

Less than €35,000

Base €35,000; household adjustments are capped at 20%.

Entered income is €35,000 below this limit.

This is not approval. Wexford also assesses housing need, suitable alternative accommodation, property ownership and long-term right to remain.

Wexford HAP

HAP requires social-housing approval. The council confirms the category and tenancy sustainability.

Homeless HAP may go up to 50% above the limit in Dublin and 35% elsewhere, but only after council approval. Ordinary discretion, four-or-more-child households and landlord top-ups require a direct sustainability assessment.
